Sara Gasper, LICSW, CIMHP

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself can be exhausting — especially when stress, anxiety, or life transitions begin to affect both your mind and body. Many people come to therapy knowing something isn’t working anymore, but unsure where to begin.

At Meadowlark Integrative Wellness, therapy is approached through a whole-person lens — honoring the ways emotional, physical, relational, and nervous-system experiences are deeply interconnected.

Meet Sara Gasper, LICSW

I’m Sara Gasper, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over six years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, and periods of significant life change. My work is grounded in evidence-based clinical practice and informed by a deep respect for the body’s role in healing.

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, attuned, and paced with care. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as we explore patterns, build insight, and strengthen your capacity for regulation, resilience, and self-understanding.

My Approach

My approach blends traditional psychotherapy with integrative, nervous-system-informed and body-based practices. Sessions may incorporate elements of:

  • Person-centered and relational therapy

  • Cognitive and acceptance-based approaches

  • Nervous-system education and regulation strategies

  • Somatic awareness and breath-based practices

  • Polyvagal-informed perspectives

This integrative framework allows therapy to move beyond insight alone — supporting both cognitive understanding and felt safety in the body.

I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) and have completed specialized training in the Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol, which further inform how I support nervous-system regulation and healing.

What Working Together Looks Like

Working together often feels grounded, thoughtful, and gently exploratory. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan — curiosity and honesty are enough to begin.

Clients often share that therapy feels validating and steady, helping them better understand their inner experiences while also learning practical tools to navigate daily life with more ease and clarity.

Who I Work With

I primarily work with adults who are navigating:

  • Anxiety, chronic stress, or nervous-system overwhelm

  • Depression or low mood

  • Trauma and complex life experiences

  • Grief and loss, anticipatory grief

  • Burnout, identity shifts, or major life transitions

  • A desire for deeper self-awareness and mind-body integration

My practice may be a good fit if you’re seeking therapy that honors both evidence-based care and the body’s wisdom — and if you’re open to a holistic, collaborative process.
